In search for ageless skin?? Some are doing it right, but if you are one of those who are doing it wrong way. Wake up!! Stop torturing your skin and get out of the myths. 

Few myths decoded

Myth #1:The right time to start anti ageing treatment is after 30.
Fact:Skin ageing starts as early as 25, when fine lines appear and eventually causes wrinkles.

Myth #2:Ageing is natural process. Can't prevent skin from ageing.
Fact:Ageing can't b altered, but the process can be delayed.

Myth #3:Only dry skin causes wrinkles.
Fact:Wrinkles are also caused by stress, sun damage, lifestyle habits.

Myth #4:Products that suits one's skin should not be changed.
Fact:Skin types keep changing especially during seasonal changes, choose products wisely.

DIY Everyday

Protect your skin:Use moisturizers and sunscreens everyday, they act as barrier between the skin and the elements.
How it works:Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun, protect yourself from UV rays.
Moisturizer: Moisturizer provides moisture to enzymes, that helps renew our skin.

Exfoliation:Exfoliation with scrubs is very important. Scrubbing can be done as a weekly ritual.

How it works:

Removes dead cells.

Improves blood circulation.   

Tightens the skin and keeps it soft, smooth and youthful.

Cleansing:Remove your make up with a cleanser. Apply a nourishing cream daily after cleansing at night. Massage it on the face with outward and upward movements. Wipe it off with moist cotton wool before bedtime.

How it works:Nigh time cleansing helps to get rid of the pollutants that have settled on the skin during the day.

 Home Made Packs

1. Cut off the core of a pineapple, rub it on your face. Leave it for 10-15 mins. Wash it off. It is helpful for removing the first signs of wrinkles

2.Apply egg whites under your eyes,let it dry and wash it off. It helps maintaining skin elasticity.

3.Apply drops of lemon juice to remove age spots.

4.Apply raw coconut milk onto your face, stay for 20 mins and then rinse it off with warm water.

5.Take 2 teaspoons of rose water, 3-4 drops of glycerin and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Use it as a cleanser at night.

6.Take 2 teaspoon of grated cucumber, 1/2 cup of curd, apply the pack to your face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. Use the pack twice a week.

I am loving my new tribal shorts,was looking for one, from a long time and spotted this at Globus

Tribal pieces can be mixed with another print but i paired it with a red colour cut out top. Styled it with a multi coloured flat shoe and neck piece keeping rest of my outfit simple to avoid overload.

Tribal prints pair better when they don't match. Hope you get a perfect blend and complete your look with a bright colour sling bag and high heels if its a slim fit pant.

Twist & Roll

Twist n Roll your hair to something beautiful. 

Typically twisted hairstyles work on all sorts of hair textures and lengths.

So today i have tried this sophisticated twist that is ideal for formal events,wedding and even with casual wear. It is pretty simple and very elegant.

Things you need :

1.comb

2.hair spray

3.rubber band

4.bobby pins

Steps :

1. Apply hair spray to hair so that it is easy to hold the hair in place.

2.Take a small section of hair and start twisting it in one direction.

3.Add small sections of hair as you go along the way.

4.Keep the twist neat and clean, but not too tight.

5.At the ends start twisting it tightly.

6.Tie it with a band, place it behind the twisted hair section.

7.Secure it with bobby pins.

It is playsuit play time. It is cute,sexy and well playful. I am in love with this floral romper. Just put on a playsuit and you are good to go. Not only it is easy to wear, but also its versatile. One can easily sport it for night time party look. For me the floral wedges, a bucket bag did the trick and there i am.

A sling bag and chick accessories will definitely add dazzles to the party look. I loved being simple and stylish.

DIY Home Made Facial Mask

Indulge in some extra skin care and Lighten, Brighten & Tighten your skin in just few minutes.
Believe me, you will love that glow on your face :)
This home made facial masks will take not more than 2 minutes to prepare and it includes very easily available ingredients.

Lighten: for this facial mask we need : 

EGG WHITE 

                                       

TISSUE PAPER

                                     

Lighten your skin by removing those blackheads,which makes your skin look dull and dark.
     
 Steps:

• Apply the egg white over the desired part of your face.
• Patch the tissue paper over that area.
• Brush few more strokes of egg white over the tissue.
• Let it dry.
• Peel off the tissue papers.
• Wash it off and feel the difference.
• Use this mask once a week.

Brighten: for this mask you need:

Lemon

White Sugar

Brighten your skin with this DIY facial mask which acts as a scrubber and removes all the dead skins. Don't expose yourself to sun after using this mask. Better to be applied at night.

Steps:

• Take a lemon, cut into halves.
• Place the lemon into the bowl full of sugar.
• Scrub your face with the lemon all over your face and neck.(Ignore the tingling effect)
• Let it dry.
• Wash it off and discover a new you with that glow.
• Use this mask in every 2 days.

Tighten: for this you need:

Lemon juice

Frozen honey

Tighten your skin with this amazing mask as frozen honey tighten pores and lemon juice fights wrinkles.

Steps:

• Take 1 tbsp lemon juice.
• Take 1 tbsp frozen honey.
• Mix both of them in a bowl.
• Apply it in a circular motion all over the face and neck.
• Wash it off after 10 minutes!!
• Use this mask once a week.

All you need is to find few minutes after a long tiring day and pamper yourself with DIY home made masks.

Plaid is a must have this fall. You can not get enough of these Plaid/Tartan pattern. They are so very much in fashion, they always were. What was once a classic pattern for shirts and menswear, can now be found on anything from dresses and pants to shoes and accessories.

Plaid Jackets: Dump those regular solid colour jackets this winter and look what is missing in your wardrobe. Yeah, its the Plaid Jacket. Plaid is sure to raise some eyebrows-make sure it is for the right reasons. Pair it with a black shirt/tee and casual pants or skirt.

Plaid Ankle Pants/Skinny Plaid: Follow the plaid trend with a plaid ankle pant or a skinny pant. For a business-casual or elegant weekend look a pair of ankle length plaid pants work well. Go for solid coloured shirt/tee, and a simple Blazer and avoid pairing it with other prints. Other patterns will clash causing your outfit to look confused. High heels and a bucket/hobo or sling bang will complete the look.

Head-to-toe Plaid: Let it be head-to-toe plaid this fall. You can't say no to Plaid jumpsuit. The jumpsuit is my go-to in summers. They transfer easily from season to season and make getting dressed fairly a simple event. In winters you can style a head-to-toe plaid jumpsuit with a blazer. And don't forget to heel it ;)

EASY DIY HAIRDO

                                      But what to do with the hair..you don't have to settle with a lackluster pony.

Instead opt for an updo that makes people think you spent hours infront of the mirror, but actually took mere minutes to complete.

For this hairdo you need:

• A Hair Brush
• Some Bobby Pins
• Hair Spray

Steps:

• Tease and bump the crown.
• Pin up the sides.
• Split the remaining hair in half and braid each half.
• Drape the braids into a bun and pin.

They may be trending among all for a while now but these ear embellishments have been part of Indian jewellery for centuries. Ear cuffs have now been given a modern tweak but are inspired by Kanauti and tribal ear wraps.They come in all shapes and sizes, from giant and elaborate, to small and dainty.

                       If you are unsure about wearing them start experimenting with a small pair.
