DIY: ANTI AGEING TREATMENT

Skin reveals Beauty and not Age.


In search for ageless skin?? Some are doing it right, but if you are one of those who are doing it wrong way. Wake up!! Stop torturing your skin and get out of the myths. 
Few myths decoded

Myth #1:The right time to start anti ageing treatment is after 30.
Fact:Skin ageing starts as early as 25, when fine lines appear and eventually causes wrinkles.

Myth #2:Ageing is natural process. Can't prevent skin from ageing.
Fact:Ageing can't b altered, but the process can be delayed.

Myth #3:Only dry skin causes wrinkles.
Fact:Wrinkles are also caused by stress, sun damage, lifestyle habits.

Myth #4:Products that suits one's skin should not be changed.
Fact:Skin types keep changing especially during seasonal changes, choose products wisely.

DIY Everyday


Protect your skin:Use moisturizers and sunscreens everyday, they act as barrier between the skin and the elements.
How it works:Sunscreen: Apply sunscreen before stepping out in the sun, protect yourself from UV rays.
Moisturizer: Moisturizer provides moisture to enzymes, that helps renew our skin.

Exfoliation:Exfoliation with scrubs is very important. Scrubbing can be done as a weekly ritual.
How it works:
Removes dead cells.
Improves blood circulation.   
Tightens the skin and keeps it soft, smooth and youthful.

Cleansing:Remove your make up with a cleanser. Apply a nourishing cream daily after cleansing at night. Massage it on the face with outward and upward movements. Wipe it off with moist cotton wool before bedtime.
How it works:Nigh time cleansing helps to get rid of the pollutants that have settled on the skin during the day.

 Home Made Packs


1. Cut off the core of a pineapple, rub it on your face. Leave it for 10-15 mins. Wash it off. It is helpful for removing the first signs of wrinkles

2.Apply egg whites under your eyes,let it dry and wash it off. It helps maintaining skin elasticity.

3.Apply drops of lemon juice to remove age spots.

4.Apply raw coconut milk onto your face, stay for 20 mins and then rinse it off with warm water.

5.Take 2 teaspoons of rose water, 3-4 drops of glycerin and 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice. Use it as a cleanser at night.

6.Take 2 teaspoon of grated cucumber, 1/2 cup of curd, apply the pack to your face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water. Use the pack twice a week.
