Get set to splash

The playfulness this festival entails makes us forget about our anxieties and makes us relive the youthfulness, the fun side of us. Get set to splash with the brightest colours of holi.

How you are going to style the whites this holi?  White makes the perfect background to showcase all the rainbow colours. White is the colour that keeps the spirit of holi alive. Grab different bright colours with open arms like the way white does. Always wear something that you won’t regret even if it gets spoiled in the colour splash.
Have a look at few picks that may interest you:
Salwar/ churidar and kameez – Go the ‘bollywood way’. Pick a white kameez pair it with a churidar or salwar like our bolly heroines do in many of the holi songs. Go for a full white ensemble that will show off the Holi colours brilliantly.

Kurti & palazzo - If complete white is too boring then combine whites with prints to create some interesting combination. Palazzo is very much in trend these days. It’s comfortable and you can look trendy this holi.

Shorts & tops/shirts - Use your imagination and go crazy, after all it is Holi – the festival of colours! Everybody remembers ‘balam pichkari’. I just love the way deepika styled herself in cute hot pants and a red shirt. Yes of course go ahead and pair white with red or yellow or anything bright, Even its bright, who cares, it’s holi!

Some tips to play safe :
1. Oil your skin and hair before the play.
2.Protect your nails from being coloured, coat them with nail paints.
3.Use a sunglass to protect your eyes from a misfire of colour.
4.Use sunscreens 30 minutes before you start playing holi, dyes in the colours makes the skin vulnerable to sun burns, darkening and rashes.
5.Do not scrub before washing off the colours, instead use cleanser or baby oil.

Have A Happy & Colourful Holi..!!
Until next time..Be Your Beautiful Self..!!
